Founded in 1938, the Flood Group began with the extraction of aggregate and the production of ready mix concrete and concrete blocks. In 1979 Flood Flooring was established to market precast products and through ongoing research and development and the employment of competent staff throughout the company, it is now recognised as the countries largest producer of precast flooring.
Since its introduction to the precast market nearly 30 years ago, the company has expanded its production and sales of prestressed wideslab flooring to 12000m2 per week. Through this expansion Flood Flooring now have in addition to the Head office and production facility in Oldcastle, Co. Meath, a design office in Rathfarnham, Dublin and a UK office based in Birmingham.
